Since the upgrade to IO6 on my latest gen iPad, Safari will no longer automatically load the authentication page in public settings which is usually required to actually use their WiFi. In other words, it shows a connection to the WiFi network as usual, but I usually have to open up Safari which normally shows that locations login page, where I agree to the terms of service and are then actually allowed to use WiFi. Since the update, Safari no longer allows those pages to be seen and simply gives an error “Not Connected to the Internet”. (This is where people look fearfully at me as I scream, “Yes, I know! That’s what I’m trying to do!”) I’ve turned the WiFi on and off and poured over both the WiFi and Safari settings, but no luck. Any help would be much appreciated.
