Small red 1 notification on the App Store in the update section that won’t go no matter what I do. It is highly irritating, I have tried multiple suggestions off the web but none of them have seemed to fix my small but annoying problem. Thanks

When I go on the App Store there is a small red 1 notifying me that an app needs updating, but whe I go to the update section there are no app’s  that actually  require an update. It is a small but highly irritating issue, I have tried multiple suggestions off the web but none of them have seemed to fix my small but annoying problem.
