I recently updated my Macbook Pro to El Capitan, and while everything else seems to work pretty smooth, I have a few problems with Safari.
First of all, I’ve noticed a slight increase in the number of cookies stored in Safari. From normal browsing I usually get around 30-40 cookies, however this number has increased to 100 or more even though I visit the exact same sites.
Another thing is, that when I go to “settings – privacy” to select and delete cookies, the “details” button sometimes disappears, and I have to close down Safari and reopen it to make “details” reappear.
Lastly, whenever I finally manage to delete cookies/history and shut down Safari, it says “not responding” and won’t close, unless I force quit Safari.
Has anyone experienced anything similar and know if this can be fixed?
Thanks.
