Does anyone else have a problem with a solution to the “Analyzing Gapless Playback” (Currently on the newest version of iTunes (as of 11/16/2015) who also has more than 50,000 tracks (I have about 96,000 from about 70% of my large CD collection) on their Windows 10.1 PC (intel i7 quad core, 32Gb RAM, 2 1Tb SSDs on RAID 1). This wasn’t a problem 2 months ago and now I can’t update my iPhone music or anything else without deleting lots of music from the iPhone (6 plus 128Gb) iOS 9.1.
I had saved the library as an xml file and tried to delete (actually move) the current library file and reimport. This took over 24 hours and stopped after only about half the track were imported with the message, “Some songs couldn’t be found.” even though they are all in the same place they were when I exported the XML to begin with.
Should I downgrade iTunes and if so how? Any other thoughts or workarounds.
