My Wife and I both have the iPhone 6s running IOS 9.1. We each have our own calendars hosted on google that we share with each other. We love the feature where when you enter a location for a calendar event and the phone lets you know when it’s time to leave your current location to get to the event on time. It has been working on my wife’s phone since we both got the 6s. It looked like such a handy feature that I started adding locations to my events on my calendar. I also had to go to Settings > Sound > Calendar Alerts to set up a sound since I had it off. Now that I’ve started adding locations to my events, We both get “time to leave” alerts for events on either of our calendars. (not other events like “15 min before”). This is very frustrating since I don’t need to know when to leave for her events and visa-versa.
We each have our own calendar set to be our default calendar.
I’ve looked over these settings:
Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Default Alert Times > Time To Leave (on)
Settings > iCloud > Calendars (off)
Any help is much appreciated!
