My iMac 27 inch late 2013 model with 1tb just had a black screen with grey and blue lines on it one morning took it genius that day and they said it was the screen. Since it is 19 months old its out of warranty so it’s 600 to replace. They also said it could be the hard drive. They called 4 days later and said they needed to delete all the data and it would be ready in ten minutes. Called back and said they had to replace the hard drive and it would be 3 more days. Has anyone else experienced this? Is it common for iMacs to die in less than 2 years of use?
