Problem: Verizon iPhone 6S

Yesterday I spent 4 hours at the local Apple Store with intent to upgrade from a 6+ to a 6S using the new Apple Upgrade Program.  Worked with 3 very nice and polite Apple associates, 2 new iPhone 6Ss, at least 6 SIM cards, two phone consults with Verizon, and could not get anything but No Service on the 6S.  Went home with my 6+ just a bit frustrated.  I have had a Verizon account since 1992 (yeah, amazing huh?).  Verizon now thinks I have a 6S, but of course I don’t.  Anyone have some troubleshooting ideas?
